Consistent Pace with Some Fluctuations Nick Bernal from Mesa, AZ, demonstrated a commendable performance throughout the Marathon event, finishing with an impressive time of 3:53:25. Nick maintained an overall pace of 8:54 min/mile. His splits displayed consistent pacing with slight variations primarily around the 5th mile where the pace dipped to 11:03 min/mile. Notably, Nick showed a strong recovery with a swift 6:35 min/mile pace in the 6th mile, one of his fastest split times. Within his age division of M19-24, Nick placed 106th, competing against a total of 3624 participants. His positions fluctuated around the mid-ranges, reflecting the same consistency observed in his pace. Observing the latter part of the race, there was a slight downward trend in pace, particularly from the 23rd mile onwards.
