Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Sarah Weyl displayed excellent pacing across the Mesa Marathon half marathon, covering 13.1 miles in 1:26:06 with an average pace of 6:34 min/mile. Her performance was consistent throughout, clocking most miles under 6:40. Notably, she managed her fastest mile in the final stretch with a 6:06 split for mile 13, showcasing an impressive close to her race. Sarah ran effectively within her age group, placing 23rd in the Female 30-34 division out of 3859 overall participants. Comparing this race to her previous half marathon performance in 2024, Sarah improved her time by 1 minute and 37 seconds, reducing her pace from 6:41 to 6:34 min/mile. Regular pacing in mid-race splits, particularly between miles 4 and 9, highlights her consistent endurance.
