Consistent Performance with a Few Highlights Shawna Peters participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K with a steady pace throughout the race. Her overall time was 1:39:22, maintaining an average pace of 16:01 min/mile. Notably, Shawna improved her pacing as the race progressed, with her fastest split time being 15:00 for the final mile. Among her division F45-49, she placed 85th, showing commitment and consistency across the race segments. Although Shawna's overall pace decreased slightly from her previous race performance at the 2024 Mesa Marathon, where she recorded a time of 1:38:52, her ability to maintain a strong pace in the last mile demonstrates progress. Her placement out of 2107 participants overall was 1615, while she finished 912th in her gender category. Shawna's participation as part of the Ky Mules team also contributes to a communal focus where strengths can be shared and improved upon.
