Consistent Pace With Strong Finish Jose Luis demonstrated remarkable consistency throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon, maintaining an overall average pace of 8:19 min/mile. Starting strong with the first mile at a 9:04 min/mile pace, he showed significant improvement by the second mile, increasing his pace to 8:12 min/mile. Notably, Jose managed two sub-8-minute miles, clocking in at 7:57 during mile 3 and 7:59 in mile 11. These impressive splits contributed to his total race time of 1:49:04. His placing throughout the race displayed a steady performance, with the final position of 850th overall out of 3,859 participants, 527th among males, and 88th in the M25-29 age division. The later miles, especially mile 12, where he ran 7:53, indicated a strong finish.
