Consistent Finish with a Strong Final Push Lucretia Durant, 32, from Phoenix, AZ, showcased a steady performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. Her overall time was 1:07:51, translating to an average pace of 10:56 min/mile. Throughout the race, she maintained a consistent pace, starting at 10:24 min/mile and closing the final mile with an impressive split of 9:36 min/mile, indicating a strong finish and strategic energy management. Examining her splits, Lucretia's pace slowed between miles 2 and 3, from 10:57 to 12:02 min/mile, but she later picked up her pace, gaining back several positions in both overall and gender categories by the last mile.
