Strong Performance Showcases Improvement Tasia Punak delivered a consistent effort at the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a final time of 3:30:35, demonstrating progress from her previous year's performance. Her overall pace was 8:02 min/mile, marking an improvement from 8:09 min/mile in the 2024 Mesa Marathon. Tasia started strong with a sub-7-minute pace for the initial miles, particularly noteworthy was her 6:41 min/mile pace at the 3rd mile, securing a top position in her division. Mid-race, her paces fluctuated slightly between the mid-7-minute range. Despite facing a pace increase near mile 13, Tasia maintained her form. A slight reduction in speed was observed in later miles, resulting in a 9:28 min/mile during mile 21. Nevertheless, closing the marathon at an overall 27th in her F40-44 division showcases her competitive standing. Continued focus on maintaining mid-race pacing might sharpen future performances for stronger finishes.
