Strong Start with Consistent Pace Colton Clayburn showcased a commendable performance during the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon with a steady pace and moments of acceleration. Starting at 9:00 min/mile for his first mile, he improved his split time to 8:08 min/mile by the third mile. Throughout the run, Colton maintained an average overall pace of 9:03 min/mile. His sixth split was particularly notable with a speedy 8:00 min/mile, demonstrating potential for speed bursts. Though his pace slightly tapered off in the latter stages, peaking at a 10:11 min/mile at the 13th mile, he effectively managed to keep a sub-10-minute mile pace for most parts.
