Consistent Improvement in Half Marathon Performance Elizabeth Wilson demonstrated impressive pace consistency at the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Her overall time was 1:34:03 with an average pace of 7:10 min/mile. One of the standout moments was the final split, achieved in 6:40 min/mile. Her steady performance shows marked improvement compared to her 2023 performance in the same event, where she finished in 1:38:35. This year's race placed her 23rd in her division (F35-39) out of a total of 3,859 participants. Throughout the race, Elizabeth maintained a strong pace, particularly excelling in the latter half. Notably, she improved her pace in miles 6 and 13, clocking in at 6:52 and 6:40 min/mile, respectively. Despite some variability in her place standings, Elizabeth was able to finish ahead of 3,485 participants, showing her ability to hold a competitive pace throughout the race. Continued focus on initial mile times can further enhance her overall performance.
