Steady Pace and Strong Finish in the 10K Race During the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, Tresure Goates maintained a consistent improvement in performance across her splits, showcasing her ability to adapt and pace effectively. Finishing with an overall time of 1:09:24 and an average pace of 11:11 min/mile, she demonstrated remarkable consistency. Starting with a mile pace of 11:31, Tresure progressively quickened her pace, dropping it to an impressive 10:52 by the final split. Interestingly, Tresure managed to progressively improve her splits, especially evident from mile 4 to mile 6, where she picked up her pace significantly. For the F45-49 division, she finished 33rd. As a valuable member of Team GOATES, her strategic pacing from mile 1 to mile 6 reflects potential for even faster finishes in future events. For further improvement, she might focus on maintaining the acceleration seen in her later mile splits throughout the race.
