Date: February 8, 2025 Participant: Amy Steed #22122 Race: 2025 Mesa 10K Distance: 6.2 miles Weather: Perfect running conditions at 63°F, partly cloudy skies, and a slight breeze from the east in Mesa, AZ.

Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Amy Steed maintained a consistent and improving pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. From an initial pace of 10:19 min/mile in the first mile, she improved to 9:34 min/mile by the end of the race. This demonstrates excellent stamina and an ability to increase speed as the race progressed. Her final mile was the fastest at an impressive 8:31 min/mile, indicating a strong finishing effort. For future races, it might be beneficial to focus on quicker paces earlier in the race while maintaining that strong finish. Amy's performance places her 199th in her gender category out of 1,107 women, and 43rd in her division (F35-39). Competing with "Too Legit Fitness", her race strategy and execution show promise for further improvement and increased competitiveness in future events. Keep building on that speed and endurance!
