Solid Mid-Race Splits Highlight Performance Alexandria Johnson, aged 33 from Tempe, AZ, represented Team Ludlow in the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Throughout the marathon, she maintained a steady pace, completing the full 26.2 miles in 5:51:01, averaging 13:23 minutes per mile. Notable highlights include consistent mid-race splits, such as mile 7 with a split time of 10:33, showcasing a strong performance relative to the surrounding miles. She competed in a field of 3624 participants, and within her F30-34 division, she placed 168th out of her competition. Especially impressive were increments at mile 1 and mile 4 with favorable paces of 10:42 and 10:39 minutes per mile, respectively. However, a slowdown was reflected in the latter miles, particularly at mile 19 with a split pace of 17:46 minutes per mile, suggesting that maintaining early consistency could be a focal point for future races.
