Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Gary Ludlow, 61, from Mesa, AZ, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon's 10K event. He maintained a steady pace throughout the race, completing it in 1:55:33, with an overall pace of 18:38 min/mile. Notably, Gary showcased impressive consistency across all 6.2 miles, starting with a 19:36 min/mile pace and gradually increasing his speed, especially during the last mile where he recorded a split of 15:55 min/mile. His placement in the Male 60-64 division was 46th out of a significant number of participants, and he finished 733rd in the male category. The improved pace in the final mile indicates strong endurance and the ability to push through fatigue towards the race's end.
