Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Enoch Olmstead demonstrated a commendable effort in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, finishing with an official time of 1:08:04 and an average pace of 10:58 min/mile. He steadily improved his pace throughout the race, starting at 13:00 min/mile for the first mile and reaching 9:01 min/mile in the final mile. This progressive enhancement in pace is an excellent indicator of developing a strategic race plan. Olmstead's positioning improved as the race progressed. Beginning 1004th overall, he climbed to 832nd, with his last split being a significant boost to his standings. Within his division, Male 25-29, he secured 59th place. Notably, his strongest performance came in miles 5 and 6, with his fastest split in the sixth mile. The impressive closing speed is a strength to capitalize on in future races. Focus on building endurance to maintain a slightly faster pace earlier could enhance overall performance.
