Consistent Effort with Strategic Splits Sheryl Hampton competed in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, finishing with a total time of 1:58:51 and an average pace of 19:10 min/mile. Throughout the race, Sheryl maintained a steady pace, highlighting an impressive endurance for her age group, F60-64. Impressively, her fastest split was the sixth mile, recorded at 17:44 min/mile, showcasing a strong finish to the race. Analyzing her split times, Sheryl demonstrated consistency in her pace with slight fluctuations, finishing 72nd in her division. While her overall pace improved significantly in the fourth and final mile, early splits presented a slightly slower pace, suggesting a potential area to focus on building initial speed. However, her ability to accelerate towards the end reflects positively on her stamina and strategic pacing. Great job representing the Holy Molys team!
