Consistent Effort with Strategic Pacing Kelly Myers showcased her consistent pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon, finishing in a time of 2:32:00. Beginning strong, Kelly maintained a sub-10:00 min/mile pace for the first 3 miles and gradually adjusted her pace with each subsequent mile, finishing the race with an overall pace of 11:36 min/mile. Notably, between miles 4 and 9, she displayed endurance as the splits ranged from 10:01 to 13:49 min/mile. Kelly's performance highlights an ability to start strong, with her fastest split being mile 3 at 9:39 min/mile. Although her pace gradually increased, by the final mile she had improved her split pace to a solid 11:50 min/mile, showing effective control of her energy reserves. As a member of PHX Run Club, Kelly's completion among 3859 participants underscores her steadfast resolve. For future races, focusing on maintaining an even pace in the later miles could elevate her performance further.
