Consistent Pace with Room for Strategic Gains Greg Olmsted from Phoenix, AZ competed in the 2025 Mesa Marathon, completing the half marathon in a time of 1:46:31 with an overall pace of 8:07 min/mile. His performance remained consistent, as reflected in his split paces, ranging from 7:31 min/mile at mile 2 to 8:44 min/mile by mile 10, showing remarkable control early in the race. Greg's ability to maintain a steady average pace was evident, particularly during the second half, despite facing minor fluctuations. Notably, Greg displayed strong placements, finishing 468th in the men's category among 3,859 participants.
