Consistent Pacing Marks Steady Half Marathon Performance Jessica Ludlow, 21, from Rexburg, ID, delivered a consistent performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon in the Half Marathon event, completing the 13.1-mile race in 2:28:37. Her overall average pace was 11:20 min/mile. Notably, Jessica maintained relatively steady pacing throughout the race, with her fastest split being the second mile at 10:47 min/mile. Her splits initially showed improvement with a progressively quicker pace until the fourth mile. While there were fluctuations across splits, she managed to keep most between 10:44 and 12:26 min/mile. Jessica finished 2501 out of 3859 participants overall, and 1241 out of 1954 in her gender category. Statistically, her position in the F19-24 division was 114th. It's commendable how she held her pacing consistently, despite slight variances in the latter part of the race.
