Steady Early Pace with Late Slowing Carson Biro, a 21-year-old runner from Peoria, AZ, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon. He recorded a finish time of 5:00:28 for the 26.2-mile course, maintaining an average pace of 11:28 min/mile. Notably, Carson showed consistency in the early stages with a split pace of 9:17 min/mile over the first 2 miles.
