Consistent Pace Propels to Stellar Finish Ahmed Muhumed exhibited remarkable performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, clocking an overall time of 28:07. Notably, Ahmed maintained a consistent and impressive pace, particularly excelling in the latter stages. His final elapsed pace was 4:32 min/mile, showcasing his ability to accelerate through the race. This strategic pacing allowed Ahmed to maintain top positions throughout, consistently holding third in the first half, and impressively advancing to first in split five with a time of 4:17 for that mile. The final split displayed his speed endurance with a swift 3:49. This effort secured first place overall and within his gender division among 2,107 participants. Maintaining a steady improvement in pacing across miles demonstrates an effective racing strategy.
