Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Cj Eagar participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event, representing the Ridge Runners at age 40. The race began with a solid pace for the first mile, covering the distance in 10:07. However, subsequent splits saw a decrease in pace, with mile four recording a split pace of 12:41 min/mile. The final split concluded with a time of 12:49 min/mile. Despite the slowing pace, Cj held a mid-field position, finishing in 52nd place in the M40-44 division out of 1069 participants. Though this year's finish time of 1:14:34 reflects a slowdown compared to previous years, maintaining steady efforts through the race displays determination.
