Consistent Pacing and Strategic Gains Daniel showcased a robust performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon, representing Team World Vision. His completion time was 2:16:36 over a 13.1-mile distance, with an average pace of 10:25 min/mile. Notably, Daniel gained momentum mid-race, as seen in his negative splits from mile 7 to mile 9, where he gradually improved his pace to 9:35 min/mile by mile 9. Early in the race, Daniel showed consistent pacing, starting with a 10:35 min/mile pace and accelerating to 9:43 min/mile at mile 8. His ranks throughout the race reflected this improvement, finding his best overall place of 1744 at mile 8. Despite a slight increase in split times in the latter part of the race, his effort resulted in finishing 165th in his division among 3859 participants. Encouragingly, maintaining steadier splits in the final miles could further enhance outcomes in future races.
