Consistent Improvements in Pace and Placement Javier Moncivaiz completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K with an overall time of 52:25, achieving an average pace of 8:27 min/mile. Notably, Javier improved his placement throughout the race, starting at 314th and ultimately finishing 224th overall. His splits demonstrated increasing speed, with his final mile pacing at 7:07 min/mile, which significantly contributed to his stronger finish. Javier's performance this year marked a substantial improvement compared to his previous race, where he finished with a time of 1:42:44. He moved substantially up the rankings, demonstrating much faster elapsed times in each split segment. In the Male 45-49 division, Javier consistently positioned 17th or 18th, showcasing competitive performance relative to his peers. Focusing on consistently maintaining or improving his early race pace could help Javier further enhance his overall performance in future races.
