Strong Finish with Negative Split Performance Zachary Miller, a 24-year-old runner from Glendale, AZ, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. His overall race time was 1:09:25, with an average pace of 11:11 min/mile. Notably, Zachary achieved a negative split, starting with a pace of 11:26 min/mile and finishing with an impressive 9:12 min/mile for the final mile. His strong finish helped him place 41st in the M19-24 division from a field of participants. Interestingly, at the 5-mile mark, Zachary showed a pace improvement, recording the fastest segment of his race with a split time of 10:53.
