Consistent Performance with Strong Finish Natasha Wodak, a 43-year-old from North Vancouver, showcased an impressive performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon in the half marathon event. Maintaining an overall steady pace of 5:26 min/mile, Natasha completed the race in a remarkable time of 1:11:13. Throughout the race, she displayed consistent pacing, with notable acceleration during the latter part. Notably, her fastest split was recorded between miles 12 and 13, achieving an impressive 4:56 min/mile pace. Natasha consistently ranked first in the F40-44 division, demonstrating her competitive edge in her category. At mile 3, she moved up in the overall standings to place third in the female category, showcasing significant pace improvement. By the end of the race, she secured a strong fifth place among all female participants in a field of 3,859 runners. Continuing to work on maintaining pace in the early stages could further enhance the race strategy. Great job, Natasha!
