Steady Improvement and Strong Finish Carmen Divine showcased consistency and progressive pacing in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. Starting with an 11:27 min/mile pace, Carmen effectively reduced her pace mile by mile, concluding the race with a substantial improvement. Her final split was her fastest at a 9:12 min/mile pace, which is a remarkable 2:15 min/mile improvement from her first mile. Overall, Carmen finished with an average pace of 10:25 min/mile, placing 15th in her division among females aged 60-64. While she placed 15th in division compared to an 8th place finish in her division last year, Carmen's strategic pacing saw her moving up during the race.
