Steady Improvement Leads to Strong Finish Marcos Medina showcased a commendable display at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K with a consistent performance throughout the race. He strategically improved his pace after each mile. Notably, Marcos began with an 11:09 min/mile pace in the first mile, subsequently trimming it down to 8:33 min/mile by the sixth mile. His ability to progress through the miles was evident as his overall pace improved to 10:25 min/mile by the race's end. Among 2107 participants, Marcos secured an overall placement of 688. Within his age division (M19-24), he placed 34th, while in the male category, he landed at the 387th position. Marcos' performance at this event provided valuable insights, especially in pacing strategy. Continuing to refine pacing could further enhance his results and enjoyment of the sport. His representation of PHX Run Club suggests strong team camaraderie and support played a role in his achievement.
