Consistent Pace and Steady Improvement Ally Nelson participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon, completing the half marathon in a time of 2:02:47 with an average pace of 9:22 min/mile. Throughout the race, her split times demonstrated consistent pacing, finding her quickest mile at 8:40 min/mile during the 3rd mile. Notably, Ally's pacing was generally steady, falling between 9:02 to 9:54 min/mile, offering insights into her ability to maintain momentum over longer distances. Comparing her current performance to previous years, Ally showed improvement from 2:13:43 in the 2022 Mesa Marathon and aligning closely with her 2023 performance, when she completed the race in 2:03:55. Ally's placement improved within her age division (40-44) compared to previous races, securing 92nd place this year while facing a larger field of participants than before.
