Impressive Split Consistency and Strong Finish in the 10K Angel Vargas, 19, from Mesa, AZ, delivered a noteworthy performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, maintaining consistent splits and accelerating towards the end. His opening split was clocked at 6:08 min/mile, followed by progressively faster miles, with the fastest split recorded at 4:55 min/mile for the final stretch.
