Consistent Pace with Steady Improvement Daniel Skinner participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, finishing in 1:12:58 with an average pace of 11:46 min/mile. Despite a slight increase in overall placement to 1014 out of 2107 participants, he maintained a steady performance, especially in the M40-44 division, finishing in 50th place. His splits show a varied pace, with the first mile at 11:06 min/mile, gradually increasing to 12:49 min/mile by mile four, and then improving slightly by mile five. Interestingly, when comparing this race to his previous performances, Daniel showed resilience, improving his overall pace since the 2023 Mesa Marathon. Notably, he shaved off nearly five minutes from his 2023 elapsed time, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to progress. For the future, focusing on maintaining a consistent pace throughout the race can further enhance his performance, allowing him to solidify his presence in the M40-44 division.
