Consistent Performance and Strong Finish Quinn Coates, a 14-year-old from Mesa, AZ, delivered a noteworthy performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon's 10K event. Starting strong, his first mile split was 7:13, demonstrating excellent pacing from the outset. Though his pace slightly increased over the subsequent miles, he effectively managed to maintain sub-8:30 paces throughout the race. His final mile showcased a burst of speed with a 6:57 split, highlighting his ability to maintain stamina and push hard to the finish line.
