Maintaining Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Jennifer Merritt demonstrated a steady performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon's 10K. Her splits reveal consistent paces at the start, with a slight slowdown after mile 3. She started with an even 17:58 min/mile pace for the first mile, and maintained a close pace through miles 2 and 3. The fourth mile had a notable increase in split time at 21:04, yet she managed to regain speed, finishing the final two miles with splits of 18:02 and 18:10, respectively. Her overall pace was 18:32 min/mile, underscoring her steady performance throughout the race. Jennifer ranked 80th in her division of Female 50-54 and finished 1021st out of 2107 female participants.
