Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Addison Clemons, age 12, showed admirable consistency and determination in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event. With an overall event time of 1:50:24, she maintained a steady average pace of 17:48 min/mile. Her initial mile was completed in 16:29, marking her fastest split of the race. Splits varied slightly, with the second mile taking 18:27 and gradually settling into a rhythm in the subsequent miles. Noticeably, Addison finished strong, achieving her best pace since the first mile in the final stretch at 17:12 min/mile. Addison's position in the race reflected her steady performance. She placed 35th in the Female 1-14 division, out of a total of 2107 participants. While there was a steady pace throughout, the split times indicate that maintaining momentum in the middle sections could be a focus area.
