Steady Progress in the Mesa Marathon Becky Trujillo demonstrated commendable improvement in the 2026 Mesa Marathon 10K, finishing in 1:09:40 with an average pace of 11:14 min/mile. Notably, this was an improvement from her previous races, where she clocked 1:12:52 in the 2017 Mesa Marathon with a pace of 11:45 min/mile, and 1:28:07 in the 2022 event at a 14:12 min/mile pace. Her split times show varied pacing, with a strong finish in the last mile at 10:26, which was her fastest pace during the race. While her placements in overall, gender, and division categories showed some movement, Becky's consistency is evident. Moreover, compared to her past performance, particularly the 2024 race where she averaged 14:25 min/mile, her current performance marks significant progress. To achieve even better results, focusing on maintaining the stronger pace from the final mile throughout the race could prove beneficial in future events.
