Her earliest mile, clocked at 14:57, showcased a strong start, but pacing slightly declined as the race progressed. The fastest split after the initial mile was mile five at 15:07, demonstrating a brief surge in speed around mid-race. It's commendable that despite varied pacing, she maintained a steady effort throughout the entire race. Rebecca completed the race with an elapsed time of 3:40:29, nearly consistent with her previous half marathon time of 3:38:39 in the 2024 Mesa Marathon. Her overall placement was 3700 out of 4125, reflecting a competitive field. Moving forward, focusing on enhancing endurance to avoid time increases in later miles could potentially benefit her future race outcomes.
