Consistent and Strong Improvement at 2026 Mesa Marathon Ashley Polk delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Mesa Marathon half marathon with a finish time of 1:19:55 and an average pace of 6:06 min/mile. This marks a significant improvement from her previous half marathon at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, where she clocked in at 1:24:33 with a 6:27 min/mile pace. Her consistent pace throughout the 13.1-mile race sees her improving in the F35-39 division, finishing 7th compared to last year's 9th placement. Analyzing her splits, Ashley demonstrated a balanced effort, closely maintaining a strong sub-6:10 per mile pace for most of the race. Notably, she closed her final mile at a speedy 5:54, exhibiting strong stamina and an ability to maintain, and even increase, her speed towards the end. With her solid fourth-mile splits, she held a steady placement, finishing 25th among females and 119th overall in a large field of 4,125 participants.
