Consistent Pace Breaks Through the Field Nicole Dehning displayed an impressive performance in the 2026 Mesa Marathon 10K. Starting with a steady 8:44 min/mile, she progressively increased her pace over the next few miles. Her splits show a consistent improvement, culminating in a strong final mile at a 7:28 min/mile pace. With an overall time of 48:14, Nicole was notably 50th in the gender category and 5th in her age group, F40-44, from a total of 2,851 participants. Compared to previous performances, Nicole exhibits significant improvement. Her 10K time reduced notably from 54:28 in the 2024 event and 50:32 in the 2025 race. Encouragingly, her overall pace improved from 8:47 min/mile in 2024 to a remarkable 7:46 min/mile in the current race.
