Consistent Start, Steady Finish Abhiraj began the race with a strong and consistent pace, maintaining an even 8:23 min/mile for the first two miles. His determination was evident as he only slightly increased to 8:25 min/mile by the third mile. At the halfway point (mile 6), his average pace was 8:40 min/mile, showing a disciplined approach to pacing and energy management. In the latter half of the race, Abhiraj experienced a gradual decline in pace, averaging 9:11 min/mile for the entire half marathon distance. Notably, the slowest mile was the tenth, at 10:08 min/mile. Despite this, his final time was 2:00:24, and he finished with a commendable overall place of 1525 out of 4125 participants. To improve further, gradual training focused on sustaining initial pace longer might be beneficial. Overall, his performance reflects a solid foundation for half marathons with specific areas to target for future progress.
