Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Suhanya Subramaniyan completed the 2026 Mesa Marathon 10K in 1:38:01, maintaining an average pace of 15:48 min/mile. Analyzing the split times, Suhanya showed a gradual improvement in pace from the fourth mile onward, with the fastest split being at mile 4 at 15:23 min/mile. Her consistent pacing helped her improve in rankings in both her gender and division categories in the latter parts of the race, finishing in the top 50% of the division F45-49 for the final split. Compared to her past performances, Suhanya's current race time was slower than previous years. However, it's noteworthy that her pacing strategy showed positive adjustments towards the second half of the race. Focusing on maintaining and incrementally improving that faster pace from mile 4 could be beneficial. Continued attention to pacing consistency and strategic race planning can further improve her performance in future races.
