Steady Pace with a Strong Finish Melissa Craig completed the 2026 Mesa Marathon half marathon in 1:34:12, maintaining an average pace of 7:11 min/mile. This performance secured her 369th place overall out of 4125 participants, and she placed 19th in the F40-44 division. Notably, Melissa's race pace remained consistent, with early splits ranging from 6:44 to 7:11 min/mile, demonstrating a balanced effort throughout most of the race. The final 9:30 split saw a slowdown, but she impressively picked up the pace to finish the last mile strong in 6:53. Compared to her previous race in 2025, where she finished in 1:34:28 with a pace of 7:12 min/mile, Melissa showed a slight improvement in overall time. As a member of the Robison Rumble team, focusing on maintaining tempo in the later stages could further enhance her performance. Keep up the great work!
