Consistent Performance and Strong Finishing Kick Teresa Brundrett demonstrated steady pacing during the 2026 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Her overall time was 1:45:45 with an average pace of 8:04 min/mile. Notably, she maintained a strong position within her division, finishing 4th in the F60-64 category. She began with a solid 7:45 pace for the first mile, adjusting between 7:59 to 8:21 per mile in subsequent splits. Impressively, her final mile was completed in 7:51, showing a strong kick at the end. Throughout the race, Teresa moved well, with her placement improving from the initial miles to the finish. Her consistency and ability to finish strong are commendable. Compared to her previous races, her pace was slightly slower than her personal best of 7:53 min/mile in the 2025 event. Focusing on maintaining speed during the middle miles could help improve her time further. Great job representing East Valley Runners with such a disciplined performance!
