Dominant Division Finish in Half Marathon Mariah Galbraith delivered a strong performance at the 2026 Mesa Marathon, completing the half marathon in 1:21:25 with an average pace of 6:12 min/mile. Her impressive run secured the first place in the F15-18 division, maintaining consistent paces throughout each mile. Notably, she excelled in the second mile with her fastest split at 5:55 min/mile. Mariah finished 33rd among females and 137th overall out of 4125 participants. In comparison to previous races, this event marked a significant improvement from her 2025 Mesa Marathon time of 1:26:23 and her 2023 finish of 1:44:11. Her endurance and pacing strategies have shown noticeable progression over the years. One area for growth could be maintaining even splits at her fastest potential pace, particularly during middle segments of the race, to shave additional seconds off her overall time.
