Consistent Start with a Strong Finish Jaymes Kodak displayed a steady performance throughout the 2026 Mesa Marathon. His pacing was consistent in the early miles, starting with a 9:02 min/mile pace in the first mile and maintaining close to a 9:10 min/mile pace through mile 11. The split times varied slightly but remained within a 10-second range until mile 12. Notably, Jaymes gained momentum in the final stretches, with a significant pace improvement to 6:37 min/mile at mile 12 and an impressive 5:44 min/mile in the last mile.
