Maintaining Pace with Steady Splits Mike maintained a strong and steady pace during the 2026 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. His consistent pacing is highlighted by eight out of the thirteen miles being completed under the 10-minute mile mark. His fastest mile was the third, completed in 9:26, and his overall elapsed time was 2:09:25, with an average pace of 9:52 min/mile. Notable is his ability to regulate his pace despite challenges, which is critical to sustaining energy throughout. While his ranking in the M50-54 division fluctuated between 35th and 62nd, a consistent placement near the middle of the pack indicates a solid performance among peers.
