This strong start was followed by some fluctuations. Her pace slowed slightly, with notable split times such as 6:12 in the second mile, causing her to drop to 91st overall. Through the third to fifth miles, she maintained a steady pace around the 6-minute mark, consistently placing in the top ten within her age division. The latter half of the race included slight deceleration, with the final mile split recorded at 6:15, maintaining an overall average pace of 6:14 min/mile by the finish. Lacey finished with a commendable time of 1:21:49, showing consistency in her pacing. While she placed 10th in the F35-39 division, working on maintaining the initial pace might help in finishing stronger.
