Consistent Performance Despite Deceleration Dylan Collins maintained an impressive pace during the 2026 Mesa Marathon, completing the race in 2:36:43 with an average pace of 5:58 min/mile. Starting strong with a 5:43 min/mile pace, he held a top position early on, placing 19th overall and within his age division. His pace remained under 6:00 min/mile for the majority of the race distance. Towards the second half of the marathon, a slight deceleration was observed, with a few splits above the 6:00 min/mile mark, particularly after mile 21. However, Dylan concluded the marathon strongly with an overall position of 19th out of 3509 participants, showing commendable endurance and competitiveness within the Male 30-34 division, where he secured the 5th position.
