Consistent Start and Solid Finish in Mesa Max Beck began the 2026 Mesa Marathon with impressive consistency, maintaining a swift pace over the initial miles. His first split was completed in 6:41 min/mile, placing 32nd in his division. By the third mile, his pace settled to around 6:44 min/mile, showing a strong grip on speed and emphasizing his strong opening tactics. As the race progressed, Max's pace slightly decreased, creating room for improvement in maintaining speed throughout. Despite a mid-race deceleration to a 7:31 min/mile pace at the sixth mile, Max rallied in the closing mile with a brisk 6:55 min/mile split. He finished the half marathon with an elapsed time of 1:33:57, achieving a commendable division place of 45th.
