Consistent Performance But a Bit of a Fade Towards the End Cole maintained a solid and consistent pace throughout the first half of the marathon, with an average pace hovering around 6:31 to 6:36 min/mile. His best mile was mile 14, clocking in at 6:15 min/mile. He initially held a strong position within his division (M19-24), ranking 18th at the 1-mile mark. Early on, Cole's splits showed a meticulous and well-paced effort, reflecting his endurance and strategy. In the later stages, mile splits began to slow slightly, especially from mile 24 onward, where splits reached as high as 7:42 min/mile. Despite the deceleration towards the end, Cole managed to maintain a commendable overall pacing. Finishing in 109th place overall out of 3509 participants and 18th in his division is no small feat. Improvements could focus on sustaining speed in the final miles to enhance overall performance. Keep up the excellent work with "Life in Stride"!
