Consistent Splits, Adjusting Strategy Jeremy Rowlette completed the 2026 Mesa Marathon in 3:16:12 with an overall pace of 7:29 min/mile. His early splits show a consistent performance, maintaining a pace around 6:44 to 6:52 min/mile through the first nine miles. Notably, he achieved his fastest split in mile four with a pace of 6:34 min/mile, showing strong early momentum. Placement improved significantly during the mid-race miles. By consistently holding a 6:50-6:55 min/mile pace before mile ten, Rowlette efficiently moved through the field from the 289th position to 227th overall during miles eight and nine. In the latter half, mile 20 marked a shift with a split pace of 8:17 min/mile. Subsequent splits ranged from 7:55 to 8:47 min/mile as he settled into a rhythm.
