Consistent Paces with Strategic Surges Nolan Bennett showcased a strategic pacing approach at the 2026 Mesa Marathon 10K. Beginning with a 9:02 min/mile for the first mile, Nolan slightly accelerated to an 8:55 min/mile by mile two. Notably, his third mile was his fastest at 8:40 min/mile, highlighting an effective push in the middle of the race. Although his pace slightly fluctuated in subsequent miles, Nolan maintained an overall steady rhythm with each mile hovering around the 8:50-8:55 min/mile range. Finishing with an overall time of 55:10 and an average pace of 8:53 min/mile, Nolan stood out by keeping his split times relatively close. His third mile surge boosted his standings significantly, reflecting his capability to strategically enhance his performance during critical segments of the race.
