Consistent Pace, Strong Finish Yotuel Garcia participated in the 2026 Mesa Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile course in an impressive time of 2:30:07, finishing with an average pace of 5:43 min/mile. Yotuel secured 10th place both overall and in the male gender category, excelling in the M19-24 division by finishing 4th. Compared to the previous years marathon, where Yotuel clocked 2:38:15, this year demonstrates a substantial improvement in pace and position. Each of the final four miles was completed faster than the previous, with a particular highlight being the 5:08 minute pace in the last mile. The splits reveal a strong, relatively consistent performance with most splits under the 6-minute mark. The athlete showed an ability to maintain pace, with a noticeable speed increase in the final stages of the race.
